Got Squat!

The Cell Squat Seminar

Saturday 09 July 2011, 10.30am – 12.30pm

The Squat is the most fundamental of all exercises. We squat every day. Getting in and out of chairs, getting in and out of our cars, sitting on the toilet! Squatting is everywhere. Not only is the Squat a fundamental movement, it is an awesome all over body exercise. The Back Squat has been referred to as the “King of Exercises” for its ability to increase your overall body strength more than any other lift.

But, are you squatting correctly? In our practice as Coaches at The Cell we see and correct daily examples of people performing the Squat poorly. Whether it’s due to a lack of stability, inadequate flexibility, body imbalances or just inattention to form  poor squatting abounds.

Attend our Squat seminar where we’ll peel back the layers of the Squat and work the intricacies of each part to ensure you’re ALWAYS squatting correctly. We will use video analysis to help identify and correct problem areas and we’ll use various coaching cues, tools and techniques to give you the perfect squat. During the seminar we will cover:

  • The Air Squat
  • The Back Squat
  • The Box Squat
  • Assistance Exercises for the Squat
