City to Surf Program

Train Less, Perform Better
with
The Cell’s City to Surf Program

Are you thinking about tackling this years City to Surf Fun Run?
Do you want to have a crack at your first half marathon? Or Marathon!?

Based on CrossFit Endurance Programming, Principles and Run Technique Drills you will be coached by CrossFit Endurance Head Coach, and Australian Director, Jason and CrossFit Endurance Certified Coach, Stef through this 9-week lead up program.

This class will meet every Tuesday evening at 6pm for run drills and intensive interval based sessions with an additional time trial or tempo run programmed for you on the weekend.

This program is open to anyone, regardless of ability, experience or whether you are a Cell member or not. Priced at $165.99 (Cell members receive a 10% discount) this program will get you in the best shape possible for the City to Surf without the need to run endless kilometres.

This program commences on Tuesday 28 June 2011

    01/07/11 5km TT = 23:46min, slight discomfort in groin region this morning, hammies & calves pulled up ok. Will try some light stretching to alleviate.

    02/07/11 5km TT = 24:23min, Calves and ITB’s tight as soon as I started, wasn’t puffed at the end, just couldn’t get the legs moving any faster!
