Someone once asked the Dalai Lama what surprises him most. This was his response:

“Man, because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies having never really lived.”

    First time back at training ‘properly’ today…

    Warm up:
    skipping – 10mins
    Mobility drills
    3 rounds of:
    20kg OHS, 10 reps
    strict pull ups, 10 reps
    1 x strict muscle up to ring dips, 10 reps
    Norwegian push ups, 10 reps
    sit ups, 10 reps
    20kg Goodmornings, 10 reps

    60kg Power cleans
    3 x 3

    100kg Deadlifts
    3 x 8

    ‘Jackie’ (just cruising)
    TIME = 7.30min
    *Pull ups unbroken…

    Just a lazy 45.60km on the treadley for today

    Went as hard as I could and tried to concentrate on my breathing
