    shirts off wednesday and special stories, and hard work in the WOD
    classic uplifting way to set up the day, you all rock!

    Very funny session this morning!! Thoroughly enjoyed listening to Midnight Oil that much I tried to dance like Peter Garrett whilst almost punching Laila in the head!! DO NOT LISTEN TO MIDNIGHT OIL PEOPLE!!!

    Loved Stef’s story about “Evan” so much… hahahaha i think his name was Matt as some stage also…

    Took it very easy this morning as I didn’t want to aggravate my back.

        There is a fair bit of speculation as to whether quinoa is paleo in the Primal World. Here is what Cordain has to say: “Quinoa and amaranth are grain-like crops with potential harmful substances namely saponins. Saponins have been demonstrated to increase intestinal permeability which is one of the factors contributing to many autoimmune diseases, as well as irritable bowel syndrome. So, we recommend to avoid quinoa and amaranth, specially if you suffer from an autoimmune disease.”

        Buckwheat despite it not being a grain was cultivated well after agriculture and requires a great deal of processing to get it to an edible stage too.

        However if you were to look at all grain and grain-like foods, quinoa would be with rice on the lesser harmful side of the spectrum with wheat being way up there on the highest.

        I stay clear of all grain-like alternatives as I react badly to them. If I didn’t, I’d probably be a little more flexible with my choices. As it stands, it’s gotta be 100% for me or I face the consequences, and they aint pretty! 🙂

    The full version is 1 x dinghy, 1 x 21 ft boat owned by another local, 1 x patrol baot, which is government operated and part of the marine search and rescue team and finally a helicopter which is part of the airbourne search and rescue team…

    I cannot do too much with my back atm, although it feels very good I am resting for a short period of time…

    3-3-3 42.5 / 47.7 / 50kg (thought I had the weight written down wrong so went up realised I actually had the correct weight written down!!) Am happy to be back DL even though the weights are light at least my hamstring is coping so far 🙂

    WOD:

    HSPU (1 x ab mat), 5 reps
    Rope Climb, 1 ascend
    airdyne 5 cals
    =7 + 5 HSPU

    (Started with 2 x ab mat but too easy 1 x mat bit too hard but managed to struggle through)
