Wednesday 10 August 2011

Posted by The Coach on August 9th, 2011

5 rounds for time of:
Pull Up, 20 reps
Push Up, 40 reps
Squat, 60 reps

Post time to comments

Use these next 2 days of The Cell being closed to sort out your loads for the Wendler Strength Program. Many people are still turning up to their class with no idea of what they are going to be lifting. The spreadsheet is here. Enter your 1 repetition maximum lifts. Use your 3 repetition max for the Power Clean. The spreadsheet will do the rest. Transcribe these figures to your strength card when you’re next in and you’re set. Fail to do this and instead of lifting a bar, you may instead be lifting your body repeatedly off the floor as you knock out a ridiculous amount of burpees 😉

Questions or problems, email Jason.

And just so we are all on the same page regarding the definition of ‘ridiculous amount of burpees’, here it is:

    at least 1000 reps!

Stef has called it, 1000 burpees if you don’t sort your Wendler loads out. Glad I’ve done mine. Please do yours, I don’t want to be a witness to the pain of someone doing 1000 burpees 😉
