An interesting vantage point… If nothing more, amazingly beautiful imagery which stops and allows us to contemplate deeper meanings of our own existence. SS

Video matches my beliefs fairly closely. I don’t believe in a god of any kind nor any higher being. However, I am in awe at the magnificence of the world, life, etc. Something to contemplate on Sunday.

On a much lighter note, here are 2 quotes I found on the web about Crossfit to contemplate:

“Yes I know that every workout is hard and I know that you hate running and I know that the bar hurts your delicate hands, but there comes a time when we have to nut up or shut up…or both. CrossFit is constantly varied, so the odds are that you will see some workouts you hate. That’s why it’s CrossFit and not alltheshityoulikeFit.”

    and another:

“You are more than your time or weight on the board, more than a set of strong or weak muscles, more than your injuries, more than however many pullups or double unders you do or don’t get. The minute you step foot into Crossfit you are an athlete”

Both are courtesy of Crossfit South Bay (in southern California). I like them both, for different reasons. What does the rest of the crew think?

Nice Dave. My beliefs mirror yours there mate.

Great quotes too and pretty well spot on. Although I think everyone is an athlete before they step foot into CrossFit. They just don’t know it yet. CrossFit doesn’t make you an athlete, it develops you as an athlete.

The lads at South Bay are a good crew. We launched the CFE War Tour there when I was last in the US. I still have the lump on my scone from walking into their pull up bar! 😛

    Jase 🙂
