    Update from Storm

“The end of day one has seen the Cell Team in 20th position with CFX and Crossfit Sydney.

We were 25th after the first WOD and then with a wopping 215 pound lift from Luke (I only contribuitted 52.5kg 2 lifts didnt pop my hips enough on the 3rd) which we placed 15th.

Stef – 34th position. Stef was deemed not in control of his last lift. His last lift was 195 pounds.

The biggest lift in the thruster was from Crossfit NZ who put up 265 pounds it was a nice lift and the whole crowd was behind him.

I stood around and watched some of the women in the teams lift some big numbers. Big women though and a little pocket rocket I think from the Gold Coast got to 165 pounds.

As you can imagine Stef was not happy with the no call on his last lift.

All in all a good day for everyone. Laila’s push ups were great and Bliss rowed at a 1.52 for both of her legs. Mike and Adrian solid performers as usual and Luke was the standout today; cool calm and collected. He was a bit disappointed he didn’t get the 225 as he has before but his legs were a bit tired today.

    Jase 🙂

    W/U – Row 1000m and mobility
Strength – Deadlifts 115/140/160 (someone glued 170 to the floor)
WOD – Wow, didn’t look like much on paper
    MuscleUp Progressions x 10
    AirSquats x 75

My thighs have been burning and twitching since we finished. What a feeling! Love it when I squat down and I have to do it slowly, cause my thighs are screaming.
