Life is curious when it is reduced to it’s essentials…

Life is always reduced to its essentials. We’re frail creatures: without water or shelter, we cant survive. We may not think of our lives in these minimalistic terms, but accidents of many kinds can disrupt our fragile web of protection. It makes sense, then, to assure ourselves of the best quality of life while we have it. This does not mean luxury or plenty: a high standard of behavior and relationships. Clarity and honesty in our dealings with others will assure the quality of our lives. Simplicity is more satisfying than complexity.  The less we get in our way, the more clearly we can see the elegant essentials of life, elegant in that they are never extraneous, life is indeed curious in the way it engages our full attention!

    Kings Park / Jacobs Ladder training (hurt locker)…

    Warm up:
    Mobility drills

    Workout:
    1km run
    Then:
    5 Rds of:
    1 x Kakoda
    20 x push ups
    20 x jump squats
    Then:
    1km run
    Then:
    3 Rds of:
    1 x Jacobs ladder
    7 x HSPU
    Untimed, but went hard…

    Finisher:
    4 Rds of:
    7 x strict pull ups
    7 x Gymnsatics kipping pull ups
    14 x pushup and knee to elbow

    Drive 15-20mins

    Recovery swim at beach, needed it as I was F*****D after that!

    30 mins of stretching and mobility

    5km run

    struggled as calfs were sore for the run.
