Sunday 20 March 2011

“In the transformation and growth of all things, every bud and feature has its proper form”

Our lives are a series of unfoldings.  Our struggle to be perfect at every stage of life is a common element of the human condition.  What comes with age and wisdom is acceptance of our imperfections.  We see that we develop at every stage of life.

We can rejoice that we’re unfolding according to the needs of our existence.  Each day is ushering in the new growth, subtle changes. Our transformation is lifelong and according to specifications known to the inner self – our connection to Universal Wisdom.

The changes we’ll experience today are compatible with new growth we adapted to yesterday.  And likewise, what will come next week, next year will have been prepared for by the tiny transformations accumulated on this road to maturity. We are developing exactly as we need to each step of the way.  And our fit, yours and mine, one with another, is perfect at every moment. ‘Fritjof Capra’.

    Warm up:

    10-7-4 reps @ 40kg

    4 rounds of:
    10 L-sit pull ups
    15 push ups
    15 C2B pull ups
    15 push ups
    20 pull ups
    15 push ups
    TIME = 22.12min

Was timing this and wasn’t, very little sleep last night and probably underestimated this work out. Good fun though.

Great work on the Games WOD Mary-Anne!

Did my first ever Duathlon today up at Lake Leschenaultia. 3km Trail Run/14km Mtn Bike/3km Trail Run.

Pulled out a 2nd placing which I was stoked with considering I haven’t run 6km in………… forever and it was only the second time out on the trails on my mtn bike. If I didn’t get lost and ride an extra 2.5kms I would’ve been even happier! 🙂

Fitness wasn’t an issue at any point. Mtn biking skills was a constant issue! 😛

Got another coming up in April so time to get out and work on my bike skills.

Great way to start a Sunday and heaps of fun. I thoroughly recommend it. If you’re interested, check out

    Bench press: 5,5,10@75kg,85kg,97.5kg
    Strict Ring dips: 10,10,12
    Strict pull ups: 10,10,8
    Handstand pushups: 10,8,8

6km run in 29 mins started slow as legs were sore but picked up pace for second half.
Awesome work Jase sounds like fun.
