3hr 20min Mountain bike ride through some seriously gnarly single track at Glen Eagle. Before the ride I went for a 30min run along the Munda Biddi track, to test out my Vibram Five Finger Bikila’s on pea gravel, which went well.

Today was supposed to be my back off day, but I was invited to ride this new trail with some off my old riding buddies. I wasn’t sure how my body would cope with firstly the high technical aspect of this ride and secondly the pace, as these guys are totally race fit and due to ride a 12 hour race next weekend. I only fell off twice and kept up on all bar the top part of the last major 3k boggy climb. Overall I am happy with how my body coped today, and love how training at the Cell has given me complete overall conditioning.
