Winthrop Baptist College Training

Today, a select few Winthrop Baptist College year 10 students were exposed to what The Cell has to offer in physical fitness, strength and conditioning. Thanks to Mr Woods (their Physical education and science teacher), these young triathletes were able to experience what functional and practical training is all about in preparation for their competition next week. These aspiring athletes exhibited strong will, determination and solid team spirit. In teams of two they had to tactically conduct the following; all within a 20 minute time limit:

400m run per athlete
50 push ups per athlete
200m single arm KB farmer carry per athlete (16 & 12kg)
50 air squats per athlete
50 sit ups per athlete
50 KB Russian swings per athlete (8 & 6kg)
50 box jumps per athlete (21″)
50 burpees per athlete
400m row per athlete

    Please tell us it was not Stef doing doing the exposing.

    I think that I would be struggling for the 20 minute time limit.
