No Classes Today Due to Our “Smoker” Challenge

If you’re not competing, come on down and support your fellow athletes.

The Challenge kicks off at 9am with the weigh in. First heat begins at 9.30am

Good luck to all those prepared to accept the challenge!

    Question: if by the next challenge I gain weight or lose weight or find a set of scales that are a little more forgiving what weight would I use or would it stay the same?

    Just thinking tactics πŸ™‚

    Scaled to 40kg front squats (about 52% BW)

    Time = 11:59

    The squats took around 1:30, which means the run was very, very slow! I’m pretty happy with it, though – no back pain afterwards, yippee!!

    Great work, everyone! Looking forward to giving this a crack as Rx’d in December.

    What a great morning πŸ™‚

    Phil did scaled to 50% BW at 39kg and pumped out 20 5 5 probably a bit too light but he would have struggled with 78kg – maybe next time!

    I did as prescribed (for once) at 47kg (not happy with the scales I’m sure they were registering heavy – in fact ALL the females thought the same – but Storm was having none of it – she was very bossy this morning)

    Struggled with the front squats managed 6 to start then rapidly went down to about 3 was last to leave for the run from my heat 😦 but managed to run myself up a few places (its great when you love to run a different story if I had to row)

    Legs are starting to ache now and I have to ride 5/10/15/30km intervals tomorrow so hope they recover ok

    HI guys

    As I write this I am still sore from this morning and even worse for ware from the gorgeous Bliss Bombs hens night. I left my phone in Stef’s car so dont try ringing me.

    52 Kgs x 30 reps wtih a 1600m run ouch yuk ouch and I had the egnmatic Dan run with me (god bless him) = 15.39 this was hard for me.

    Onward and Upward, well done everyone xxxxxxxxx

    forgot to say how perrfecct Storms squats were (mine left a lot to be desired)

    Also Storm, guess what’s on my program for tomorrow morning – 5km Row!!!!!!!!!!!! have decided to swap this out to next week so that I can tackle it once you have shown me how to row fast on Saturday πŸ™‚

    I’ve not rowed this far before (mainly cause I hate rowing) and I know what all the coaches would say – work on your weaknesses – & I will but not till next Monday πŸ™‚
