    I have just finished catching up on the gossip. I just wanted to say brilliant effort to Stef and Steve on the weekend, that event sounded like good fun, I wish I was there in front of you both…hahaha

    Inspiring stuff Anthony, I love hearing success stories like your journey; I believe that subconsciously it gives everyone more drive and mental toughness when that little extra is needed from within.

    Hey there has been some awesome WOD’s getting posted, I will be home in about 17 days, after close to 8 months away this year, really hanging to train with you all.

    Finisher
    500m row for time – 1:34.7
    Rower was set on 10 the night before – not sure if putting it on 5 made the difference or if it was all in my head?

    Very happy with everybody’s attentiveness to learn today and their marked improvements in technical application of the power snatch. Very impressive! Welcome Michael T, who has had very little experience with lifting excelled with his olympic lifting endeavors this afternoon! Hollie who has been missing in action for a while also did exceptionally well, getting straight back in to that groove!

    Very happy and proud with everybody’s performance!

    Started off using one abmat but my arms and shoulders got tired pretty quickly so I added another abmat. Great work by all of the 5:30 crew this morning!

    Majority of the HSPU’s were head to floor except about the last 4 where I used an abmat so the next class could actually start on time!

    Disappointed with this one. Was aiming for sub-5mins but my ambition clearly outweighed my ability. Cleans were no problem, HSPU’s killed me. Suffering from a severe lack of fitness.

    Only one way to solve that, training tomorrow!

    Pleased with my result. Would like to go heavier on the HPCs next time but HSPUs with bands are improving all the time. Managed to bang out 6 in one go before needing a rest.

    Good job Travis with the HSPUs. I’ll get there……
