    3.30am nightshift WOD

    5 rft of:
    25kg Dumbbell Snatch, 5/5 reps
    25kg Dumbbell Clean & Jerk, 5/5 reps
    Burpee, 5 reps
    Time: 10.24 mins

This is a bit of a fall back WOD that I occassionally do on nightshift as our gym is crap and has very limited gear or even adequate space to do much. There are some dumbbells though so I can always do this WOD or something similar.

    Jase :-p

BAM! And that is what training is all about, it is not about the training itself, it goes beyond that, being on night shift, senses distraught, body fatigued and weary, mental alertness lower than usual, an array of sensical limitations are present. It is important to not see them as limitations, but rather cues of improvement or self testing of mental strength… What can you do and where can you go with it? How far? How deep?

Excellent! Wake up in the middle of the night, go for a run, then go back to sleep? Why, because you can…

Brilliant and powerful work by all this morning, VERY SUPER impressed. Snatches are one of the most complex (if not the most complex) weight lifting movement to learn! Great work, breaking it all down will help form and self confidence!

    🙂

    Training with Stef – humbling!
Felt great to be pushed physically and emotionally. It was hard to keep concentration and keep pushing throughout.
    Thanks Stef 🙂

On a completely different note, bought a Cell fleece hoodie today. In Jason’s word, “warmth without the weight.” They are sensational, thanks chaps. 😉

Really not looking forward to how I am going to feel in the morning!
