Everyone at The Cell can be very proud of the efforts of our competing members. After day 1 and 18 competitors in the ladies and 38 blokes, our crew are placed as follows.

Great effort by all the blokes and I can see some movement up the placings happening tomorrow.

I’d also like to mention the fantastic work being carried out behind the scenes by Biljana and Tracy. Both have volunteered their weekend to make this event possible. Your doing us proud girls! 🙂

And a big thank you to all our members who have turned up to cheer on our athletes. Everyone’s contribution is greatly appreciated.

Active recovery = 1hr MTB ride through some local trails, easy to medium pace. Now Vicki and myself are off to cheer everyone on at the sectionals, yippee. 🙂

Got up with a really sore throat this morning, probably not a great idea to do the 150km bike ride that was planned – but of course I did!

Only made 3.5hrs before I had to throw in the towel, felt like crap & probably made myself worse 😦
