    Hehehe GOLD!

    WOD: Scaled
    250 row
    15 pushup

Been really yuk this week, so Stef did a good scale for me -did the first 5 of all pushies on toes tho (first time ) so happy with that. Had a whale of a time watching every other athlete (poor buggers) do the WOD as Rx. Excellent effort 5.30 crew!
STEF – dare you to post the pic here ….. go on, dare you 🙂

Great work from everybody this morning! Really slugged it out! My sole purpose in life from this day forward is to teach and enforce the ‘perfect’ burpee. From this inaugural day forward I solemnly swear to ensure every burpee performed, executed and maintained under my supervision, replicates perfection as the divine Buddha represents represents the perfect state of being…

PS. Vicki, I don’t think people would appreciate the unique attire that would be paraded… HAHA!

Hmmmmm….. never thought I’d see the words ‘burpee’ and ‘Buddha’ in the same sentence….. Stef, I solemnly swear to aspire towards performing the perfect burpee on each repetition 🙂 Just need to teach my brain the difference between hips and chest…

    Warm up: 1km row, CFWU

    WOD as above
    Time = 26:36

This was MUCH harder than it looks on paper!
I was happy with the rows, but the burpees hurt more than usual, as did the K2Es.

Great work by all this morning. Andrew walked all over me, so don’t believe him when he says I always beat him 😉

Gusman – to see you race through that last set of burpees was awe-inspiring!

Gotta say Michelle you weren’t “hipping it” anywhere near as much – definite chest action going on…

Mighty powerful Burpee Buddha Man…. what are you smoking??????? 🙂 (and can I have some?)
OH , we would appreciate it Stef – you many never live it down, but we would appreciate it!!!!!!

thanks michelle! i was pretty happy with my burpees today, although the last set definitely didn’t feel like racing! i have to work on my jump and clap as more than a few times my feet didn’t leave the ground hahaha

wod as rx’d = 30:54 (i think… book is at home and i’m at work)

and i disagree with everyone… i never thought it looked easier on paper, i thought it looked like a f*ckload of burpees!

coming up soon… 500 Buddha Burpees for time

    Row 1000m
    45kg Thruster, 21 reps
    Pull Ups, 21 reps
    Row 750m
    45kg Thruster, 15 reps
    Pull Ups, 9 reps
    Row 500m
    45kg Thruster, 9 reps
    Pull Ups, 9 reps
    Time: 19.24mins

Goal was sub 15 mins. After the 750m row I was at 12 mins so knew then that my goal was a tad ambitious!!

As if “Fran” isn’t already tough enough Glassman throws in a few rows too! I really paced this one breaking the 21’s up into 7’s, the 15’s into 5’s and the last set of Thrusters 5 then 4 and the pull ups unbroken.

This was basically “Fran” on crack!! Very tough.

    Rowing splits were
So that leaves a 9.41min “Fran”. Pretty slow.
